You're probably wondering "Jo, why polyamory"?

My question to you is why do people get involved in interpersonal relationships? Why become romantically attached to anyone?

The answer of course isn't universal and it will vary from person to person. When I told Jonathan that I didn't believe in monogamy in 2018 we did some research on non-monogamy and he discovered polyamory. To me, that was more in line with what I hoped to experience rather than the idea of an open marriage that was just for sex or physical intimacy. For me, polyamory offers more resources and perspectives. In our experience, we've been able to grow and expand emotionally and intellectually in ways we never imagined we could.

It was May 2018, I got an email from someone I’ve worked with in the past at adidas for gifting products to me to try out, test, and provide feedback for. The email read, "Hi Jo,I finally have more details to share with you! We’d love to feature you in our SS19 Xpressive campaign for our Core line to launch in March 2019. Below is an overview of the campaign creative and product to be featured.” You can probably imagine my excitement and the emotions that I felt reading that email. I remember my hands shaking, my body trembling, and I was in shock with a bit of confusion trying to understand what that all meant. Was I going to be an adidas ambassador? What did they mean by featuring me in a campaign? Where is this all going to live? What does this mean? Why me? Why not me?

I was lucky enough to be able to experience some of the wellness offerings at Hilton Aruba, one of the 10 hotel resorts that Hilton has to offer in the Caribbean. It was my first visit to Aruba and although I didn’t have much time to plan for this trip there were plenty of things to do on the hotel property and in the surrounding area that gave me a chance to explore and fulfill all the areas of my personal wellness journey that’s important to me.
